• These American Revolutionary War chess pieces are made of polyresin, hand painted and polished individually.
• Board dimensions: 15.5″ by 15.5″ and 1/4″ thick. Approximate Height of pieces: 3.5″ Tallest 2.25″ shortest piece. Base diameter 1.25″. Each chess square box measures 1.5″ by 1.5″.
• The board is made of fine glass; frosted and clear checkered square boxes on the surface of the glass.
• The American Revolution was an ideological and political revolution which occurred in colonial North America between 1765 and 1783. The Americans in the Thirteen Colonies defeated the British in the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783), gaining independence from the British Crown and establishing the United States of America, the first modern constitutional liberal democracy.
• The continental army is painted in blue, lead by George Washington while the British invasion force lead by Sir Henry Clinton.
