Vintage Unused Kimono Hozon-Bukuro Storage Case for Valuable Kimono: Oct19A

This case is for storing your valuable kimono. It is made of rayon
fabric designed to look like washi paper with green trim. There is a window so you can see which kimono is inside. It measures 38 X 90cm or 15” X 35” so it will fit most kimono or Haori. It has a zippered closure with a yellow tassel on the fastener. Very nicely made - we have only one of these.

This is from a huge lot of vintage Japanese items that we have
acquired.
Most were produced in Japan in the 1970’s or 1980’s. This was before such items were made in other Asian countries as they usually are now.
Some are unused, like new or have stains or other issues so
examine
the photos and read the description carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it

value to you.

Two types of shipping are offered for this item:
1) EMS Express (INCLUDES TRACKING & Insurance) and is fast and dependable.
2) Standard Air Registered (INCLUDES TRACKING) but has a less predictable delivery time.
If you select Standard Air, note that in some cases it can take several weeks to arrive. All packages sent this way are photographed on the day they leave here.

Returns are opened in the presence of Postal Authorities to assure the original item is enclosed. We prosecute fraud!

IMPORTANT: 2020 PANDEMIC SHIPPING NOTE
Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
Note that as these measures are temporary, we can not change the existing rates for all of our hundreds of listings but will notify you immediately if it effects your purchase.
