Vintage Silk Obi w/ Rich Colors of Seasonal Plants

Description

This is a gorgeous maru obi (a kind of obi in which the design runs along the full length of the fabric along both sides!) in off-white with bamboo, plum blossoms, pine, and maple on fans, all in very rich colors accented with metallic gold. These are the seasonal plants for fall and winter. This is a vintage piece and may have age patina, minor spots, or small discolorations.
What to do with this other than wrapping it around your kimono? You can drape it on the wall, make gorgeous cushions out of it, make a very chic table runner or place mats, use it in a garment, and more! Check out our FB page, Beautiful Textiles, for some ideas.
