This is one of a huge lot of ‘vintage' Japanese bags that we have
acquired. They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories… Most were produced in the 1980’s but some are newer...
This bag has possible been used but is in near-perfect condition with no stains ior issues of any kind.
It is made of fine silk fabric in an elegant design.
It has an exceptional quality woven rattan ajiro bottom in smoked bamboo and matching cord ties. It is fully lined in yellow fabric and beautifully sewn. A stunning, exceptional quality bag!

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
