This obijime is in excellent, used condition. It is made of rough-woven, dark-red & purplish silk with with
tassels and is still in its original plastic storage box. There is a note hand written on the inside of the box stating that it was worn on a "hot day - March 29 1980”…
It measures about 150cm long.
Made in Japan
This is from a huge lot of vintage Japanese items that we have
acquired. They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories…
Most were produced in Japan in the 1970’s or 1980’s. This was before such items were made in other Asian countries as they usually are now.
Some are unused, like new or have stains or other damage so
examine
the photos and read the description carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it
