TESTED Army Signal Corp TS-268D/U Crystal Rectifier Test Set for Detector Diodes

This listing is for a TESTED Army Signal Corp TS-268D/U Crystal Rectifier Test Set, Serial # 33. Many radio enthusiasts have reported using these successfully to test Crystal Detector Diodes.
Prior to listing we inserted a 1.5V D battery and tested it as follows:
A DC voltage of -1.6V was observed between the center and outer contacts with the switch set to Front Res.
A DC voltage of +1.6V was observed between the center and outer contacts with the switch set to Back Res.
A 3.6K Ohm (nominal) resistor was used in place of a diode and the Front Res reading was in the correct ballpark.
A 3.6K Ohm (nominal) resistor was used in place of a diode and the Back Res reading was in the correct ballpark.
A 3.6K Ohm (nominal) resistor was used in place of a diode and the Back Current reading agreed with the reading on our Fluke DMM.
We were able to adjust the meter reading on both Adj Meter settings.
It is in good vintage condition, please see pics for cosmetic details. Only the functionality tested is guaranteed and, as with any used instrument, calibration is not guaranteed. Uses one D battery, not included.
This is the only tested one on the market - don't let it get away!
