PAIR Vintage Hand Painted Imari Japanese Porcelain Scalloped Edge Plates 8 1/4"

Description

Stunning PAIR of circa mid-20th century, quality Japanese hand painted, scalloped rimmed cabinet plates in the Imari pallet with iron red, cobalt blue, and extensive gilding. Generously decorated with a central image of a vase with flowers surrounded by shaped registers with more floral branches. The plates measure 8 1/4" in diameter and the underside of each have a blue mark with laurel surround.
Very good estate condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or stains. There is some scattered light rubbing to the gilding.
