One Naturally Holey Double Tube Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This double tube is ying/yang-shaped.
The stone is1 3/4 inches long,
7/8 inch wide,
and 1/2 inch tall.
Roughly rectangular shaped with two distinct short tubes
sharing one wall on an angle.
One hole accommodates a 6 gage, the other 20 gage wire.
All sizes are approximate.
Nature is ssssooooooo cool.

Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.

Hag stones are stones that have a
naturally occurring hole inside them. These stones are often
found along the coastal points, beaches, and streams. These
holes occur from the elements
beating down upon them over
many years.  There are also speculations that these mysterious
stones may have been formed by a “worm hole”. A Hag stone is
also known as a Witch Stone
or Adder Stone or Holey Stone and
has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look through the holes
you can see fairies.
