Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Surf tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is 1 1/8" x 7/8" x up to 5/8" thick.
The hole accommodates the 20 gage wire.
It is medium brown with some gray tones.
It is a very smooth stone and the edges are rounded.
The backside looks like a face. Your interpretation may vary.
I find the indents quite whimsical and interesting.
Fits nicely in your hand, making it easy to hold and look through.
Would make a beautiful natural bead.
