Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Surf tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is approximately 2 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 5/8" thick.
Interesting shape.... nice size hole with handle.
The hole is 3/16 x 5/16”. (6 gage wire in 3rd photo).
It is gray with areas of golden tan.
It is a very smooth stone with rounded edges.
Easy to hold and look through, especially with the natural handle.
I’ve been looking at this rock.... it reminds me of a coat hook.
Perhaps a handy person can use it that way. I don’t know....
