Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/2" thick.
The hole measures 9/16” x 7/16” oval shaped.
The 3/8” pipe fits very easily through the hole.
It is shades of speckled grey.
It is a smooth, rounded stone with some pits on the backside.  No sharp edges.
Would make for an interesting bead with plenty of room for a
bail (through that smaller hole) while allowing for easy looking through the
large hole space.
The stone in the photos is the one you will receive.
Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.

has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.
Part of the folklore is that if you look through the holes you can see fairies.
