Low bias Schottky diode detectors
increase linearity from low power to high power readings. A true directional coupler for increased accuracy gives solid readings over the entire frequency range, VHF and UHF. DC grounded antenna connectors prevent electrostatic build up. SWR less than 1.2:1.
Meter accuracy is
+/- 10%
of full scale or better.
Has lighted meter on/off switch

extra sturdy construction with large rubber feet, a rugged metal
case, and a designer-styled plastic injection molded front panel. Handsome black speckled finish and gray molded front panel aesthetically complements today’s modern transceivers.

This unit is rated for use on VHF and UHF bands.
Grandson WA7KVI and I tested this unit on both VHF and UHF.
VHF test results:  50 watts indicated on MFJ893 and Palstar AT-Auto tuner's meter, and ~48 watts on the FT-991 used for the test.
UHF results were similarly well matched, but at the 12 watt level we happened to be using on the FT-991.
Backlight LED works well, but no 12v wall lump is included (coaxial female jack required).
