exceptional design, superior workmanship or just something quintessentially Japanese about them…
The design is a striking Arrow Feather print called “Yabane” with bamboo leaves in
deep purple silk.
It is in excellent condition for it’s age and has been carefully stored so it is clean and has no odor. There is one stain on the inside breast area (see photo). It came from Kanazawa “little Kyoto”.
It comes in the protective washi paper Tatoushi case seen in the last photo. See photos for measurements and other details!

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
