Are you tired of hauling your heavy keying kit around for small keying jobs?
I starting using this mini kit for house jobs and as my portable kit years ago, and it's saved a lot of wear and tear on me and my big kit.  It contains most of the pin sizes that are in the large .003" kit, but it omits a few numbers that are not used as standard sizes by any of the major US manufacturers.  Measurements are 8.75" x 6" x 1" and the total weight is less than 2 1/2 pounds, so you can easily toss it in a small tub with your tools and be ready to go.  No tools are included with this kit.  Lab Security Systems has been the primary manufacturer of OEM pins for most of America's lock manufacturers for decades, including Schlage, Medeco and many interchangeable core, high security and commercial lock manufacturers. The quality of their pins makes them the only brand many professional locksmiths will use.
All of the major US lock manufacturer bottom and master pins are included, but a few sizes that are not specified by any major manufacturer are omitted.  The .003" bottom pins feature a crowned top, instead of a flat edge, like many .005" increment pins. This allows for smoother turning in rounded lock cylinders, reducing wear and extending the life of the lock and pins. The pins are made in the USA of a high quality brass.
