Length of pendant dangle is approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.5cm).

Tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
The hole is approximately 1/4 x 5/8” wide. Nice large hole makes it easy to look through.
The stone is about 1 1/4” x 1 3/8” x 3/8” thick.
This stone is a warm cocoa brown.

Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.
But what are Hag Stones?
Hag stones are stones that have
a naturally occurring hole inside them. These stones are often
found along the coastal points, beaches, and streams. These holes
occur from the elements
beating down upon them over many
years.  There are also speculations that these mysterious
stones may have been formed by a “worm hole”. A Hag stone is
also known as a Witch Stone
or Adder Stone or Holey Stone
and has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties
associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look
through the holes you can see fairies.
