CHESS Piece House of Hauteville MEDIEVAL KNIGHT TANCRED by Carolyn Cavanaugh
***VERY RARE*** In Very Good Previously Displayed Condition - HANDMADE with ARTIST SIGNATURE on Bottom of Piece as well as additional information (please see photos).
The usual pieces which are sold in the sets on the website are only 3-5 inches tall but this is one is almost 10" tall!
This fantastic chess piece is part of the
HOUSE OF HAUTEVILLE Collection, created by local Artist Carolyn Cavanaugh.
Pieces were
inspired by the 11th century Norman Wood Chessmen. This is The Knight Tancred, proudly sitting on his Horse.
Signed by the Artist herself on the bottom, as shown.
It measures approximately 9.5" Tall x 3.3" Wide x 4.9" Deep and weighs over 4 pounds
(keep this in mind for shipping!).
The detail art work is fantastic!
This is a fabulous collector's item and will make an
excellent conversation piece!
