Here is an authentic antique British sailor’s hatband or “tally”, worn by all British sailors, displaying Royal Navy commissioned ship name emblazoned in gold on black silk band. These are actual hatbands worn by British sailors during WWl - WWll era and are in as found condition with age associated wear/soiling. Displays well and a great souvenir from a by gone era on the high seas. See auctions for 7 different hatbands. Approximately 36” long.
