Here is a real nice panel meter that can be used for many projects.
Of course it would be especially suited for a power supply with the given scale reading.
The meter scale reads 0-20 Volts and 0-1 Amps (See Photos).
In fact these were purchased from a manufacturer of power supplies
who had a large overstock of these meters.
You can also ignore the scale and use it as a power meter.
It would be a nice power meter for a QRP rig. Top scale could be
0-20 Watts and bottom scale could be 0-1 Watts, etc.
The meter face is easily removable and you could turn around
the meter face plate and make your own meter face.
It has a meter movement of 1mA. (1mA current will cause a full
scale movement. You will need shunt resistors. If you are not familiar
with shunt resistors, you will have to look it up. It is not difficult).
Meter measures 2-1/2” Wide x 2.36” High.
Overall depth is about 1.34”

Typically meters like this run close to apiece.
Once again the meter is a 1mA movement. You will need shunt resistors.
That is common on nearly any panel meter. Very few panel meters read directly.
DO NOT APPLY DIRECT POWER TO THIS METER.

Mounting the Meter:
I do not have a template for the cutout to mount the meter.
You will have to drill a 2” diameter hole then four small holes
for the meter mounting screws. What I do on my projects is
first make a template with ordinary paper. Cut a 2” diameter
hole in the paper. Then pass the meter through it pressing
hard so the four screws also pass through the paper.
Of course, you could also use calipers and just measure precisely.
There is some leeway after the 2” hole is cut.
The square part of the meter will cover the hole.
You will need a drill and some files to mount this meter.
Look at the photos to get an idea.

First I want to say that when we receive an order, it is shipped promptly within 1-3 days. Once the order is brought to the post office and shipped, it is out of our hands. Delivery outside of the United States can take anywhere from 1 week all the way up until 12 weeks (Typical though is one to four weeks).

If the package has not arrived by 12 weeks, we will issue you a refund or a replacement if the item is available.
According to Ebay statistics, only 19% of sellers in the United States will ship overseas. And according to Ebay surveys, those who do not ship overseas site customer complaints from long delivery times as the reason.
We have chosen to do business with our international friends. However, we ask for your patience. Too often we get emails asking where my item is when it has not even been a week or two.
Our next choice will be to either discontinue international sales or charge for delivery confirmation which will add considerably to the cost.
